We sin not mainly because of external temptations but because of the evil in our hearts. Rather than go through the discomforting process of repentance, our hearts get hardened by responding with self-pity, misdirected rage, false repentance or unrepentance and all other things that address everything else but the sin. The cure for a hardened heart is not to improve on it but undergo a spiritual heart transplant. How do we get one?
Are you tired of constantly being defeated by sin? Are you surprised that it somehow always keeps getting victory over you? This is because we never fully understand sin and therefore underestimate it.
Join us in this five-part sermon series as we consider the biblical description of sin and learn how to be victorious over it.
