Life is not without suffering, and what we need isn’t a temporary solution that deflects our sorrows or denies it. This only fuels bitterness in us or eventually makes us give up. What we need is a fireproof joy that helps go through suffering and accept it as a fire that refines us accept suffering as a fire that refines us. The joy we have because of a sure and glorious future. How can we get this joy?
