Is Lagos addictive or seductive or both? Whatever. What many Lagosians agree on is this: Lagos is hard to love. Lagos lures the dreamer and lulls them. Lagos hails the elitist and isolates them. Lagos attracts the marginalized and overlooks them. Who then can love Lagos? Is it possible to love Lagos without idolizing, spoiling, or using her? Can one love Lagos in a way that transforms her?
